Whilst you answer the fun clues on your visit around fascinating Edinburgh, you’ll see lots of the wonderful history sights that are all around … PLUS you’ll also have a take-home souvenir packed with loads of local history tales to read at your leisure.
Each booklet is 48 pages - takes 2 to 3 hours - all outside - low cost. Lots of local history as well - explore Edinburgh in a new way!

Edinburgh’s historic Old Town is full of charm, but also steep streets, cobbles and many steps. Due to this, we haven’t been able to make these particular trails fully accessible. Most of the route is accessible but there are some closes which might not be accessible along the way. We’re very sorry for any disappointment and always aim to create fully accessible trails wherever possible.

UK Delivery? Edinburgh Quiz Trails include FREE UK P&P. All orders over £10 automatically receive FREE UK P&P at the checkout. UK orders under £9.99 will include P&P at £1.50.
Overseas Delivery? Delivery costs the same whether you order one or both of our Edinburgh Quiz Trails - they'll both happily travel to you in the same package at no extra cost.
We regularly send orders to the USA, Europe and to other destinations.
Orders are posted Monday - Friday via Royal Mail and should arrive with you within 2-4 working days. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be posted the following Monday.

What is a Quiz Trail?
A Quiz Trail is a self-guided walk taking you on a circular route - showing you the highlights. We started making our Quiz Trails from a love of history - each booklet is packed with local history. We are a Mum and two (grown up!) daughters and as a family we'd visit places - walk around the middle bit and go home not having learnt very much about the area. Our trails make sure you see and learn lots more during your visit!

How long do they take?
We keep our trails under 2 miles and they take about 1 to 2 hours -got to leave time in the day for a drink and an ice cream! You can stop at any point during the trail - there's no time limit - you can do them entirely at your own pace in your own time.

Do I need one booklet per person?
Our Quiz Trails are made for sharing - one booklet is all that's needed for a small group. They have adult questions and an extra set of questions for juniors - you complete the answers as you go. They are an activity old and young can do together. The junior questions are geared to about 5 to 12 year olds but we've had great feedback from teenagers having enjoyed the trails just as much as the younger ones. Perfect retirement activity too. All ages can enjoy doing a Quiz Trail - we hope you enjoy them.
