The Wheels of Time

Wheels of Time is a partnership of museums and heritage sites in Kent developed to promote education in history and heritage among young children.

This purpose is achieved by running a scheme to encourage children, between the ages of 5 and 11, to visit museums and heritage sites in Kent.

Children participating in Wheels of Time have fun exploring Kent’s museums & heritage sites following Roamin’ Rex’s map.

They collect a badge individual to each site.

They can claim Roamin’ Rex’s Award Badge badges for visiting 10, 20 and 30 sites and a Wheels of Time Award badge for visiting all the sites.

There is no charge to children participating in Wheels of Time, but the normal entry fees at the sites are payable. Some sites are free entry but ask that visitors make a donation.

It’s a great scheme welcoming children to learn more about their history and heritage!
