A Quiz Trail is a self-guided walk taking you on a circular route - showing you the highlights. We started making our Quiz Trails from a love of history - each booklet is packed with local history. We are a Mum and two (grown up!) daughters and as a family we'd visit places - walk around the middle bit and go home not having learnt very much about the area. Our trails make sure you see and learn lots more during your visit!

We keep our trails under 2 miles and they take about 1 to 2 hours - got to leave time in the day for a drink and an ice cream! You can stop at any point during the trail - there's no time limit - you can do them entirely at your own pace in your own time.

Our Quiz Trails are made for sharing - one booklet is all that's needed for a small group. They have adult questions and an extra set of questions for juniors - you complete the answers as you go.

ALL ages! They are an activity old and young can do together. The junior questions are geared to about 5 to 12 year olds but we've had great feedback from teenagers having enjoyed the trails just as much as the younger ones. Perfect retirement activity too. All ages can enjoy doing a Quiz Trail - we hope you enjoy them.

Definitely NO! :) We aim to give an enjoyable time to solos, couples, groups of friends as well as families. From our feedback lots of older people are having a fun time answering the junior's questions as well as the adult questions. We must never lose the child within us! Plus some groups of friends have turned it into a chance to pop into the local pubs while doing the route!

We really do take obstacles and difficulties into account and where there are steps or difficult access we give alternative routes. However, we all know that not everywhere has 100% accessible areas and some places, by their historical nature, have difficulties - such as Rye has hills and cobblestones and Sandwich has very narrow pavements. We do our very best to overcome potential problems as much as possible.

All Quiz Trails are outside and in public areas so four legged friends can also enjoy the trails - exploring at their own height!

For orders under £9.99, P&P will be £1.50. FREE P&P when you order over £10! This will automatically be applied at the checkout.

We post every day Monday to Friday so as soon as your order is in, we're working on getting it to you. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be posted the following Monday. We send via Royal Mail and from our tests, we know that the vast majority arrive in 2 to 3 working days. Your order can sometimes take longer to arrive due to postal delays.

Your Digital Download Quiz Trail will include one PDF file which includes the Quiz Trail and extra history pages to read at a later date.

Quiz Trail Pages 1-8: Print pages 1-8 A4 size in full colour. Once printed, you'll need to turn the pages to put them in order and fold in half into a booklet. Head outdoors and enjoy your trail!

History Pages 9 onwards: These pages are packed with local history about the area. You don't have to print these, as they can be read on your screen - saving ink and paper. However, if you'd rather print them off - do feel free to do so!

Kent Children’s University™ (KCU) is part of an international charity that provides 5 to 14-year olds with access to exciting and innovative CU Learning Activities and experiences outside the normal school day. They reward children’s participation in voluntary learning activities that will develop their skills and raise aspirations for the future.

The Children’s University (CU) is able to recognise and reward children for all the additional learning they participate in voluntarily outside normal school hours. Once registered through a school or direct through the local CU, children can earn Learning Credits in a variety of ways including participating in activities held at “Public Learning Destinations.” Children are provided with a Passport to Learning for them to collect Credits as evidence of their learning.

Once children achieve a fixed number of Learning Credits, they will have the opportunity to have their successes celebrated at a very special Graduation Ceremony at either Canterbury Christ Church University, The University of Greenwich (Medway Campus) or The University of Kent.
